Types of members
- Founders
Members that participate in the Constitutive Assembly, who have been included in the Constitutive Act, and are in full exercise of their rights. They have the right to voice their opinions and vote..
- Honorary
Those who due to their out standing career deserve a special acknowledgement since they have benefited the country, the sector or the Chamber. These members will only be allowed to express their opinions during the General Assembly and will not be allowed to be part of the active members. This member category will be awarded after a nomination by the Executive Board and must be approved by two thirds of the Assembly.
- Strategic
Active: Those members who have participated in support programs specifically for Camtic and its members due to their organization’s approach and for performing an activity within the area of IC. These members will have the right to express their opinion and vote.
Non-Active: Those members that due to the nature of their activities, infrastructure or the approach of their organization, have participated in support programs specifically for Camtic and its members, but their area of work is not related to the area of IT. They are allowed to express their opinion but will not be permitted to become active members or strategic active members.
- Invited
Those members whose interests are strongly related to the Association’s activities, but whose independent activities or their type of organization, do not qualify in any of the established categories in the ICT area. In order to belong to this category a recommendation of at least one member is required. Invited members will be allowed to participate in the General Assembly and will have the right to express their opinion but will not be allowed to vote.
- Active
Members who have previously attended the Constitutive Assembly and who are in full exercise of their right to voice their opinion and vote.
- Inactive
Have become members due to the application of the Entry Quota Collection, Affiliation and Extraordinary Camtic regulations or due to the Executive Board’s decree.
